Tonight a group of about 8 volunteers met at Boulder Coffee to assemble the key tags onto the keys. It took about 2 hours, 8 beers, 3 coffees, 4 Chi Lattes, and a few fruit drinks to make it through the ordeal. The keys have now been distributed to the "Key Droppers" who will be releasing the keys into the wild over the 2 weeks from Monday, May 25 until Friday, June 5. So keep your eyes PEELED!!

Treasure Keys
This year's 19th Ward Treasure Hunt will begin May 25. There will be many keys distributed about the 19th Ward and surrounding communities in Monroe County, about 40 of which will open the lock at the 19th Ward Square Fair on June 6 in Aberdeen Square. Clue sheets to solve the puzzle that opens the Treasure Box (best chance of finding a winning key) will be available at sponsor's stores throughout the event.
Square Fair starts with a pancake breakfast at 8:00am and runs through 4:00pm. Keys need to be tried and prizes claimed before 1:30 pm on June 6. A drawing (from those who turn in the found keys) will be held at 2 pm for any unclaimed prizes.

Square Fair is a neighborhood event which includes a Parade, Book Sale, Plant Sale, Children's Activities, Music and food. Many neighborhood groups set up information booths telling about their activities. This is the Association's largest fundraiser.
